Best Paintball Places In Alabama (AL)

1. Pig Paintball Is Good

Best paintball places in Alabama AL

Pig Paintball is currently located in McCalla and is considered by many to be one of the best paintball places to visit with your friends and family. They currently have three different types of paintball, these include Low Impact, SplatMaster and Traditional. Traditional is for people who wants to play competitive paintballs, while SplatMaster and Low Impact is designed for children under the age 10. The main reason for this is because the equipments are different which makes it less painful than Traditional paintball. Pig highly recommend SplatMaster for kids who are age 7-9 and Low Impact for kids 7-14.

One thing we really like about this place is that the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They try their best to let you feel at home and will make sure that you have the most fun experience ever. We don’t suggest bringing your own paintball since they only allow the use of theirs. The good news is that you have the option to bring your own weapon. They have some really breathtaking field to play on and we found the Castle and Tire Town to be our favorite. If you enjoy playing competitive don’t worry they also have a field for speedball.

Another thing that you’ll find interesting about this field is the fact that they offer Airsoft as well. Unless you’ve made an reservations you should prepare yourself to play with other person that’s not within your group. However, you don’t have to worry when it comes to SplatMaster, Low Impact or Traditional groups because no one will be coming at you with something that’s more painful. We also like the idea that they have a grill on site and there’s literally nothing better than a game of paintball and barbecue. You should check out there official website for their waivers if you are under the age of 18 and need a signature from your parents or guardian.

Google Review: “Paintball is Good is a great place to have gatherings birthday parties or just come out with a couple friends and have fun. Great friendly staff very safe clean environment. Refferess actually care about the customer and there saftey. If you want to schedule a private event, birthday party, and any team building i suggest having it at paintball is good.”

2. Southern Alabama Paintball

Whenever you visit Theodore we highly recommend visiting Southern Alabama Paintball. They have a wide range of terrain to play on with your friends and family. It ranges from field, forest and swamps so you would have to choose which setup is best for you. Not only that, but they also have some amazing obstacles and forts setup for cover. What you can do is check out their virtual tour videos on their website. If you don’t think this place is the one I can guarantee that you’ll be after watching their videos.

Another thing that we really like about Southern Alabama Paintball is the fact that everything comes at a very affordable price. For full rental and paintballs it’s only $30 or $20 if you have your own equipments to play with. If you are a fan of Airsoft and Laser Tag you’ll find this place even more interesting and you can even bring the laser tag to your event. That’s on another level if you ask me. Apart from that, they also offer open Paintball every Saturday and open Airsoft every Sunday. You have to make a reservation for events that’s on the weekends and large group of 30+ people.

With that being said, Southern Alabama Paintball has a variety of terrain and a number of sports, so you can expect to have a fun experience. The only drawback that comes with this place is that they don’t have any restaurants nearby, so before attending make sure to bring your own food. They also have waiver on their website that you can print out if you are under the age of 18 and you have to get it sign by a parent or guardian.

Google Review: “It was my first time playing paintball on a legitimate field and it was awesome. 20 bucks and a signed waiver paper or online and you get a full day of extremely well organized games and free air or co2 refills. the staff is extremely friendly. But whatever you do DO NIT SHOOT THE CAMERA GIRL that runs around. I accidentally shot her and she was Mad. I apologized and everything was all good. great place.”

3. MT. Doom Paintball and Airsoft Field

MT. Doom is known to be one of the oldest paintball and Airsoft field in the area and it’s pretty clear why they have been around this long and is still going. They literally offer some of the best themed events that you definitely won’t want to miss, these include Zombie Hunt or Aliens versus Marines. One thing for sure is that we can’t get enough of their Hunger Games and Quarter Quell games. Not only that, but they also offer a special 24 hour Battle for Oz event. Usually there are theme events like these that take place a few times per year, but we think it would be best if you take the time out to plan ahead.

It is said that the rest of the year you can expect to pay a $10 entry for weekend open paintball (not including equipment rental) which is a very reasonable price. With that said, their equipment rental rates are affordable as well. As you can see, MT. Doom paintball is one of the best due to the fact that they have a lot offers and attractions, they even has three pavilions you can reserve for parties, which makes it the ideal choice for birthdays or other celebrations.

If you want to have the best experience you should definitely visit MT. Doom today since they have high-quality, unique events that takes paintball to a new level. This is surely not the place you want to miss out on. Even if you’re not exactly nearby and it’s a small drive, trust me, DT. Doom is totally worth the visit. We are all here waiting for the next big event to take place. You should keep in mind that you have to sign a waiver which is available on the website so that you can print out. Remember that parents or guardian signatures are required for anyone under the age of 18.

Google Review: “Haven’t played but a couple times since tournament ball back in early 2000’s took my son here today with a buddy and his 2 kids. Best decision we have made all summer. Awesome crew of people great prices! And great set of fields for any and all ages or experience levels! Was a 2 hour drive and will be making this drive again soon!”

4. Splattered Wood Paintball and Laser Tag

Splattered Woods is in Montgomery and is known to be a family owned paintball field. Because they are family owned they require reservations and you can expect to pay a small deposit. It has to be a group of 10 people minimum. They also charges $20 per player which includes 200 paintballs, CO2, a gun and mask rental, and it’s best to know that you can’t carry outside paint to play, which is not a big of a deal.

If you’re interested in laser tag then you should know that they offer it at the rate of $150 for six players for an hour. It may seem to be on the higher end in terms of price, you should keep in mind that you’re actually getting a full hour of laser tag, whereas most fields that offer laser tags has a shorter game time. It might still be on the pricey side for some people but I think it is worth the investment.

Splattered Woods is only open on Saturday for now, but you will still have a wonderful time. If you’re on a low budget looking for an affordable place to play paintball for a private group, this is the place to be.

Google Review: “This place was a blast for my family and I!! We were able to play for hours at a very reasonable price. The place was clean, the staff was amazing, and the memories are unforgettable. Tyler was exceptionally great with helping my 6 year old navigate the courses. I recommend this business to anyone looking for a fun outdoor activity. We will definitely be returning. Thank you, CAPP!!!”

Conclusion

We wish you the best of luck on your paintball and we highly recommend checking out these amazing paintball places since they offer some of the best deals ever and I can guarantee that you will have loads of fun as well.
